show moreOn August 4, 2025 at 08:52 AM PDT, a deceptive spam email was received promoting obscene, unsolicited sexual content under the subject "Penile Muscle Failure Is Imminent If You’re Over 40." The body contains false medical claims and multiple links to a suspicious Google Cloud storage domain, likely hosting malware or scams. The message uses the recipient's name falsely in the "From" field to deceive. It was sent from IP 89.234.149.30 via domain droposas.com, masquerading as a subdomain of commerce.gov. SPF passed, but DKIM and DMARC results are missing or not aligned, indicating poor or bypassed authentication. This violates multiple RFCs, including RFC 5321 and RFC 5322, and laws against fraudulent and deceptive email content (CAN-SPAM Act). This IP has repeatedly been used for such spam, and the host ([email protected] ) has ignored previous abuse complaints, allowing ongoing violations. Also complaints sent to [email protected] and [email protected] for storage.googleapis.com hosting malware.

show moreThis unsolicited email falsely used the recipient's name in the "From" field, presenting itself as a congratulatory message with misleading urgency ("We have been trying to reach you - Please respond!"). The message content was primarily spam HTML including deceptive offers and obfuscated tracking URLs, designed to entice users into clicking malicious links for supposed FedEx rewards. Header analysis shows SPF passed, but DKIM failed with permerror, and DMARC was not aligned—clear signs of email authentication failure. The domain used in the Return-Path (us.urban.inc-org.imprasauror.com) appears fraudulent and does not align with the display domain. Host of IP 89.234.149.30 appears to be Quasi Networks LTD, a known bulletproof host that routinely ignores abuse complaints, allowing spam to continue from its network unabated. Violations include CAN-SPAM Act, RFC 5322, and RFC 6376.
